The results shown here are from 2006, the first cattle show at Hartington since the 2001 outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease, no cattle were shown in 2007 due to further outbreaks of Foot and Mouth.

Judge, Mr. John Maycock, was very impressed with the standard of the 36 beef animals and this was reflected by the fact the champion animal he chose went on to win the Supreme Overall Champion at the Royal Smithfield Show held at Shepton Mallet in December 2006 and the champion beef calf went on to win the Baby Beef Champion at the National Primestock Show held at Stafford Showground in November 2006.

The 5 dairy animals were judged by Mr. Wainwright.  The champion dairy heifer was shown by H. Bradbury and the champion dairy calf was shown by J. Hotchin.
